How do you keep my information secure?
- Your files are securely stored and transmitted using TLS 1.2 encryption, the highest level of security available. We also never store credit card information - we simply pass it securely to our bank for safe-keeping.
- We will never share your files or personal information with anyone outside of Rev. Files are transcribed by machine; no humans are involved.
How long will it take to receive my automated transcript?
Most files are transcribed in less than 5 minutes but we will always provide an estimate. You will receive an email when your automated transcripts are ready.
How accurate are automated transcripts?
- The accuracy of our speech recognition algorithms are directly related to the quality of the audio file input. Background noise, volume differences between speakers, non-standard accents, etc. will all impact the transcript quality.
- To accommodate for the imperfect transcription, we have built editing functionality right into the transcript to make editing quick & easy with Rev's free Transcript Editor.
How do I apply for sales tax exemption on my orders?
If you are a tax-exempt organization, please contact your Account Owner to submit applicable exemption information in order to be exempt from being charged sales tax on your Rev orders.
