… second annual Golden Globe nominations. The first group of nominations will be presented directly following this announcement. The second group will be announced at exactly 5:30 AM. and aired live on CBS Mornings. The Golden Globes will take place here at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 5th, and will air live on CBS, as well as stream on Paramount+. The show will be produced by Dick Clark Productions, along with White Cherry Entertainment.

With us this morning, we have Emmy-winning executive producer and Golden Globe showrunner, Ricky Kirshner. The voting body for the Golden Globes is comprised of 334 experienced entertainment journalists, representing 85 countries around the world. Ballots are being supervised by the accounting firm of KPMG, and with us today, we have Filippo Puglisi-Alibrandi, Michelle Wroan, Sean Katchee, and Christine Abbott.

For the first time ever, the Golden Globes will host a special gala dinner in advance of the live show. It will take place here at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, January 3rd, to present the Cecil B. DeMille Award to Viola Davis and the Carol Burnett Award to Ted Danson. We look forward to celebrating the lives and careers of these two entertainment icons.
